What's behind the growth
Corona's brand-building splits into UK-specific activity and bigger global platforms that still get UK trade coverage. In the UK, AB InBev, Corona's parent, became the exclusive beer and cider partner of Live Nation UK in January 2026, taking over sponsorship of 20-plus UK festivals and every Academy Music Group venue.
It also ran a London billboard campaign in March 2025 timed to the clocks going forward, with Corona's European Marketing Director Benjamin Pauker marking "an extra hour of sunshine." That sits on top of genuine UK sales momentum: The Grocer's Britain's Biggest Alcohol Brands ranking put Corona 5th in 2025, up from 8th, with UK retail sales of £303.8 million, growth driven partly by Corona Cero and Corona Ligera.
Beyond the UK, Corona has kept up a steady run of global brand moments. It laser-etched cutting guides onto more than 25,000 limes across 30-plus retailer locations worldwide, launched to mark International Lime Day on 10 March 2026.
It ran a global "Chill Your Feed" campaign in December 2025, offering a break from holiday-season scrolling. And it named Corona Cero the first alcohol-free beer sponsor of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, with UK snowboarder Billy Morgan among the athletes fronting the campaign.
